Instagram Comment Viewer & Exporter
Read the comments on any public post or reel without an Instagram account, then export up to 5,000 of them to a CSV or Excel file. Free, with no sign-up.
How It Works
Paste a Post Link
Copy the link of a public post or reel and paste it above. Or type a @username and open any of its posts.
Read the Comments
The comments load under the post, newest first, with who wrote each one, when, and its likes. More comments brings older ones.
Export Them
Press Export comments, choose CSV or Excel and how many, and start. The file saves when the export finishes.
View Instagram Comments Without an Account
Instagram's website greets visitors who aren't logged in with a login window, and its app needs an account from the start. Here the comments of a public post or reel load without either. Each one shows the username of the person who wrote it, with a link to their profile, the date, and its likes once it has some. GIFs posted as comments show as GIFs. The newest comments come first, as Instagram lists them, and More comments goes further back. Replies to comments aren't shown. Posts from private accounts can't be opened, here or anywhere else outside Instagram.
Export Instagram Comments to CSV or Excel
Export comments, above the comments, saves them as a file. Pick CSV, which any spreadsheet or script can read, or an Excel workbook. Then choose all comments or the newest 1,000. Each row is one comment: its ID, the username, a link to the profile, the text, whether it's a GIF, the likes, when it was posted, and whether the account is verified. The file is made in your browser and never stored on our servers. People export comments to pick a giveaway winner, count the answers to a question, or keep a record of what was said.
Free, Up to 5,000 Comments per Export
Viewing and exporting are free, with no sign-up. One export holds up to 5,000 comments, the newest first, which keeps the site quick for everyone, and a post with fewer comments exports in full. The export runs in your tab and takes about two minutes for 1,000 comments. Keep the tab open and on screen, since phones pause pages in the background. If you stop it partway, the file keeps everything fetched up to that point.
Questions
Can you view Instagram comments without an account?
Yes, on public posts and reels. Paste the post's link above and its comments load without a login. Posts from private accounts can't be viewed.
How can I download comments from Instagram?
Open the post here and press Export comments above its comments. Choose CSV or Excel, start the export, and the file saves to your device when it finishes.
How can I export Instagram comments to Excel?
Choose Excel in the export options. The file opens in Excel, Google Sheets and Numbers, one comment per row, with the username, text, likes and date in their own columns.
Can I put comments in a CSV?
Yes. CSV is the first choice in the export. It is saved as UTF-8 with a marker Excel recognizes, so emoji and accents come out right.
Is this Instagram comment viewer free?
Yes. Viewing and exporting comments are free, with no sign-up. One export holds up to 5,000 comments, the newest first.
Does the export include replies?
No. It has the comments under the post, not the replies to them.
Can people see that I read or exported their comments?
No. Instagram doesn't show anyone who viewed their posts, and lookups here don't use an Instagram account at all.
