Instagram Highlights Viewer

Highlights are stories an account saved to its profile, and they don't expire. Open them without an account, and without appearing in anyone's viewers list.

How It Works

  1. Enter the Username

Type the @username of a public account, or paste a link to one of its highlights.

  2. Pick a Highlight

All of the profile’s highlights are listed with their covers and names. Open one to see every story in it.

  3. Save What You Want

Download any photo or video from the highlight, in the quality Instagram serves.

What Highlights Are

A story disappears after 24 hours, unless its owner adds it to a highlight. Highlights sit as circles under the bio and keep stories for as long as the owner likes: travel, products, events, behind the scenes. Brands use them as a menu, creators as an archive. Opening one here shows every story in it, oldest first, with the date each one was first posted.

Anonymous, Like Stories

Watching a highlight in the Instagram app can put your name in the story's viewer list, the same as a live story. Here the request never goes through an Instagram account of yours, so there is no name to add. You don't need an account at all, and nothing tells the owner that someone looked.

Highlight Links Work Too

If someone sent you a highlight, paste the link here. Both kinds work: the long instagram.com/stories/highlights/… address and the short instagram.com/s/… link the app shares. The highlight opens directly, with a link to the rest of the profile.

Questions

Will the owner know I watched their highlights?

No. The view isn't tied to an Instagram account, so your name can't appear in any viewer list.

Why doesn't a profile show any highlights?

Either the account hasn't saved any stories to highlights, or the account is private. Private accounts' highlights are visible only to approved followers.

Can I download highlights?

Yes. Every item in a highlight has a Download button for its photo or MP4 video.

Do I need an account or an app?

No. It works in any browser on a phone or computer, with no sign-up.

How current are the highlights I see?

A profile’s highlights are checked when someone looks them up and kept for a few hours, so a highlight added in the last hours may take a while to appear.
