Instagram Recent Follows

See which accounts a public profile started following, and when. Instagram doesn't show that anymore, so we're building a tracker that will.

One email when it launches. Nothing else, and we never share your address.

How It Works

  1. Enter the Username

Pick the public account whose new follows you want to see.

  2. Tracking Starts

We save its whole following list, then check it again every day.

  3. New Follows, Dated

Each account it starts following shows up with the day we spotted it.

Why You Can't See Recent Follows on Instagram

Instagram's Following list used to put the newest follows first, so checking someone's recent follows took a glance. Since September 2026, Instagram no longer reliably shows the list in that order, and the date of a follow was never shown at all. Third-party apps that read the top of the list stopped working reliably at the same time.

How Our Version Will Work

The only dependable way left is to compare the complete following list from one day to the next. When you start tracking an account, we save its full list; every day we fetch it again, and any account that wasn't there before is a new follow, dated the day we found it. It can't show follows from before tracking started, and we won't pretend it can.

Questions

Can I see who someone followed recently right now?

Not reliably, anywhere: Instagram no longer dependably lists follows newest-first. Our tracker will show new follows from the day you start tracking. Leave your email to hear when it opens.

Will they know I am checking their follows?

No. It works from public lists, without your Instagram account, and sends them no notification.

Does it work for private accounts?

No. A private account's following list is visible only to its approved followers.

What will you do with my email address?

Send one email when the feature opens. We never share it, and we delete it if you ask.
